The Human Rights Watch Annual Dinner celebrates the valor of individuals who put their lives on the line to protect the dignity and rights of others. At this year's dinner, we honor three extraordinary activists, including Omid Memarian from Iran, Salih Mahmoud Osman from Sudan and Beatrice Were from Uganda. Human Rights Watch collaborates with these courageous human rights activists to create a world in which people live free of violence, discrimination, and oppression.
